Jessie (Dogg) Kimbrough, a native and long-time resident of Lower Peachtree, AL, was born on September 24, 1961 to the late Annie Pear McCall and Arlanda Kimbrough Sr. He departed this life on July 31, 2020 in Colquitt, GA. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Lower Peachtree, AL where he remained a member until his passing. He was a graduate of Wilcox County School .
In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronnie Wilson and Evans Kimbrough; and three sisters: Trina McCall, Mary E. Portis, and Vivian Kimbrough.
Jesse leaves to forever cherish his memories a daughter: Tiffany Cheeseboro; eight grandchildren: Demartis Cheseboro, Kenderica Dotson, and Hayden Dotson all of Lower Peachtree, AL.; eight sisters: Marion (R.B.) Portis, Mary (Archie) Daniel both of Lower Peachtree, AL, Sally (Dennis) Carstarphen of Sweet Water, AL, Willie (Gerald) Morrissette of Thomasville, AL, Alcheryl Spears of Pine Hill, AL, Betty (Lavon) Gates, Jacqueline (Tommie) Portis, Joyce Shavers all of Mobile, AL; Four brothers: Terry Kimbrough, Arland Kimbrough Jr., Joe Kimbrough all of Lower Peachtree, AL, and Authur Kimbrough of Pensacola, FL; A devoted brother-in-law and friend, Lyndon B. Portis. A host of nieces and nephews, two devoted friends: Ozell Weatherly and Johnnie Jackson, both of Lower Peachtree, AL; other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be August 8, 2020 at New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at 11 a.m.
