Jackson Robinson Huff was born in Lower Peachtree, AL to Slater and Sarah Huff II on September 29, 1955. He was known to his father as "Duke" but to siblings and other family members it was "Tee".
Jackson attended Monroe Senior High School, but left a year early and moved to Detroit where he completed his studies. Even though he was only 17, he was hired by the Ford Michigan Truck plant, where he stayed for 25 years. Being thrilled by the sound preaching of the gospel, Jackson developed a deep passion for the Holy Scriptures. In 1982 he started Huff's Irrigation and Landscaping. His five star work received attention and loyal patronage of the people over the region for almost 40 years.
Jackson is preceded in death by both parents, Walter Huff (brother), Thelma Kidd (sister), and Jeffery Huff (nephew). He is survived by his kids: Kurtis King, Jonathan (Artinia) Huff, and Angela Huff ; his most trusted allies: Robert Huff (brother), and Pamela Cofield (life partner); his grandchildren: Elijah, Addison and Jonathan Jr.; his siblings: Allie "Ree" Huff, Sarah "Sister" House, Slater "Wemp" Huff III, and Ella "Niecie" Patrick. He is also is survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
