Mother Equilla Bates closed her earthly eyes and transitioned to peaceful shores on the early morning of Saturday, October 1, 2022. Public viewing will be held at Thomasville Memorial Funeral Directors, 938 West 3rd Street, Thomasville, AL 36784, on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 4-6 pm. Funeral services will be held at Midway Baptist Church, Dickinson, AL, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Please keep the family of Mother Bates in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
