Maiya Keirre Thomas

Myia Thomas,was born to Jerry Thomas and Missy Taylor, on September 16, 2014. She was baptized earlier this year at St. Paul AME Church, in Thomaston,Alabama. She was a smiling, happy, beautiful, and bouncing baby girl. Miya, was preceded in death by, her grandmother Erica Taylor and great grandparents, Gertrude Taylor, Albert Taylor , and Juanita Thomas. One uncle, Brandon Collins, and two cousins Dana Thomas, and Nikeria Hill. Three great aunts, Sadie Mae Johnson, Mildred Beard, and Betty Thomas. Three great uncles, Walter, Mario, and Wilbert Thomas. Myia leaves to cherish, the memory of her loving mother and father. Her two brothers, Gerald and Brandon Goldsmith. Her grandparents, Rev. Leo Taylor and Beatrice Thomas. A host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Myia Thomas will lie in state on Thursday, August 21, 2014,from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in Hodges Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014, at St. Stephen AME Church, in Mobile, Alabama, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon funeral hour, with Rev. Leo Taylor officiating. Interment to follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, in Mobile Alabama.
