Mr. Dan Turner

Dan Turner a nativve of Choctaw County, Alabama and resident of Coffeeville, Alabama, made his transition from this life into eternal life on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at his residence.

Dan was born July 12,1928 to the late Henry Turner and Ethel Hill of Mt. Sterling in Choctaw County, Alabama. He confessed to Christ at your age and was baptized into the Church of Christ and was a faithful servant of Christ. He was a faithful leader and worker at the Coffeeville Church of Christ congregation throughout is life until he health began to decline.

Dan was also preceded in death by his wife Lucy Mae Turner, son Henry Earl Turner, grandson Lashawn Tyrone Turner(Sierra), and siblings Charlie Turner, Margaret Turner, Willie Turner, Bebe Ridgeway, Clemmie Turner, and Roosevelt Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a brother James Louis Turner of California, a sister Lula Blanks of Choctaw County, AL, a son Winton Turner of Olympia, Washington, four daughters: Helen(Robert)McGrew of Mt. Vernon, AL, Jessie Goalsby of Coffeeville, AL, Lora Johnson of Detroit, MI and Beverly Sellers of Mobile, AL, five grandsons: Wayne(Darius)McGrew, Don(Karen)McGrew, Douglas(Hermanski)McGrew, Darian Sellers all of Mobile, AL and Jeremiah Turner of Detroit, MI three granddaughters: Veronica(Demetrius)Spear of Birmingham, AL, Francetta Turner and Kasey Lynn Sellers both of Mobile, AL, two dedicated great grandchildren: Victoria and Demarian Spear of Birmingham, AL and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews and other family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Dan was a Dedicated Man to his Family and Community. With this Devotion to his family he helped raise to kids as his grandchildren Shantaya(Khamille)Westbrook of Houston TX, and Dante Westbrook of Coffeeville, AL.

A special thanks to Frederick Thomas of Coffeeville, AL who was dedicated to the care of Dan and remained by his side until the very end.
